Creating a Logo – Part 2
Alright last week we designed the logo. This week we will start building it. In this step I have drawn a good copy of the truck in my sketch. Once I have the truck in good condition I will photograph or scan this illustration for use in the computer. I adjust it and clean it up in photoshop and then vectorize it in Illustrator. Vectorizing is when you trace the image with computer so that it can be stretched to different sizes and remain sharp. You’ll need some specific computer programs for these steps, but if all you have is pen and paper just follow along and draw your image at twice the size, say 11×14 or so. This way you can reduce it down for your comic. Good luck!
