The Story Behind the Cartoon
This was another cartoon I did for the Face Magazine and you may recognize this person as well. Lisa Kelly is a female truck driver who has also been featured on television shows about the industry. She is a very pretty lady and am sure gets her share of guys hitting on her. Editor Denis Medeiros who also wrote the story wanted me to show her being hit on by guys as she takes a break shopping at the mall. In the past women on the road had to put up with a lot crap from the guys. We thought it was funny to show her going back on the road as a twist. Most women are more comfortable in shopping malls.
