I recently completed an illustration that was different to my normal topics. I was asked to create a magazine illustration on moths attacking fields of corn. the interesting twists is that the client requested that the moths be dressed like military fighters.
My mind instantly went to those movies of the special forces where small teams take out a whole town. Then I remembered mash where you have to have a communications guy, the gun guy, and the leader. The client liked it and I have to admit it was fun to do. The completed illustration is below.
