I am known for cartooning but offer a number of art styles and have taught classes on many of them depending on needs and availability. Since caricatures and cartooning is my main focus you will find I have a lot of information on how to do that style of art in particular. Most of those classes are of interest to schools, libraries, and art centres who would like workshops on cartoons, creating comic strips, drawing caricatures and more. That being said I do have a lot of work in landscapes, animal portraits, and vehicle art. Mediums that I prefer to teach range from pen and ink to digital media such as iPads and tablets. If you would like to discuss what may interest your group please contact me and we can discuss it.
There are three types of art instruction depending on your location, needs, and budget. I will start with the most expensive options and work down so keep reading depending on where you are.

Testimonials
“We first met Bruce last year when he was teaching our son at the summer classes held by the Oakville Art Society. We were impressed by his good humour, patience, and expertise in many fields relating to art.
Subsequently we engaged Bruce as a private tutor in art at our home. Again, we were amazed by his ability to motivate a twelve year-old. The difference between the artwork our son has produced before and after working with Bruce is like the difference between MacDonald’s food and eating at the Ritz! Our son is really proud of what he can do now, and so are we.”
Sincerely,
Stella and Henry Feinman
“It has been my pleasure to know Bruce for a number of years. Warm and personable, he shares his enthusiasm and knowledge in illustration and cartooning with his students –he awakens their interest to both drawing and observation and is always in demand for teaching teens and youths.
Bruce is committed to providing the opportunity to participate creatively in visual arts, to appreciate artistic expression, and to expand individual imagination”.
Mary Druissi – Oakville Art Society Director of Classes
Additional Comment: Both the classes were excellent, the children enjoyed learning from Bruce and then creating their own pictures. Bruce keeps the children entertained whilst they learn. He maintains control of the classes and keeps everyone involved. Bruce integrated the physical drawing and the new technologies for drawing into the iPad. We would certainly like Bruce to continue offering these courses to OPL.
