Yes the title was a pun! I recently entertained at an open house for a retirement home in Mississauga, Ontario. There are some great feelings you get when entertaining in retirement homes. You realize many of these folks just want someone to talk to, while others are happy to just be around people. What gets me the most are the stories. I met many people that were in their 90’s and were still laughing and joking like they were young. I am always amazed at the history of a room when I draw for seniors, war veterans to artists, and more. If you ever get to draw for seniors make it a goal to learn about them. It may surprise you to who is sitting in front of you.
