When you’re the surprise for a birthday party passing the guest in the parking lot can be an awkward situation. Recently I did a birthday party event and was a surprise to the guest of honour. I was to arrive at a certain time but as we all do for events arrived early for set up. What I didn’t know was that the person I passed in the parking lot was the guest of honour. She didn’t notice as she was waiting for her husband to park the car, but I had to duck when she arrived inside for the party. Inside I was literally blocking her view of the 60 people hiding in the restaurant bar area. It was a great time with everyone being very happy.
