It’s amazing what families will go through to be together for a special occasion. This last weekend in the height of a record ice storm I went at a birthday party to draw caricatures for a birthday party. As I was driving in the ice storm when everyone else was being told to stay off the roads I was thinking to myself who will be there, it’s a storm! I managed to get there safely and on time and expected to be greeted at the door by the guest to say sorry everyone cancelled. Instead to my surprise the guests started showing up one by one until the house was full. Needless to say I was busy the entire time. Happy birthday to Tipat for her ninth birthday.
