If you are having a party or event one way to make it memorable is to have a theme for it. This is becoming popular for all events from weddings to birthday parties and this month may be the biggest theme of all, Halloween. Coming up with a central theme makes everything easier and can even improve the preparation experience. I remember when my kids were young I used to theme their birthday presents based on hockey, Barbie, or more. Themes work for any event and can certainly make for a fun event.

Recently I drew at a wedding that was superhero themed. That was the first time I had ever done that. The Bride and Groom were big comic book fans and all the Brides maids ordered superhero costumes online. The tables had games and colouring book items all over the place. They sure had fun

Travel themes are always fun and if holding a Halloween Party choosing a certain cartoon theme can also work well. So give it a try, choose a theme the next time you are planning a special event or a party. Over the next couple of weeks I will be drawing at a Paris Themed Corporate Event and Halloween themed party at the Sheraton Hotel.

Happy Halloween,
Bruce
