How to Plan Corporate Entertainment That Impresses Every Guest

We are getting closer to those team parties to celebrate the end of the year. If you are in the midst of planning your entertainment for the party these tips may help. Enjoy and I will see you there!

Organize your next corporate event

Entertainment comes in a variety of forms. Have you thought about your entertainment options for the upcoming party season? As someone that specializes in wedding and corporate entertainment I have seen a variety of options at events and not all are successful. Sometimes people put so much into one party that entertainment overlaps and you don’t get value for your dollar. So how do you maximize your money and bring value to your group?

The first thing to think about is the time frame you are trying to fill and the amount of people you need to entertain. Food is a given, I have yet to see an event that didn’t have any. If you have awards to give out or speeches to get through keep that in mind as your entertainers may not be working during those times. If you have a small time frame and a large group then a group entertainment option is best such as a show or group performance. If your time frame is longer with fewer people then individual entertainment is best such as a caricature artist or photo booth. Most caricature artists can draw 12-20 people per hour depending on detail of the drawings.

If planning take-aways for the group don’t plan on the entertainer to do that. Remember not everyone may want a caricature or photo or there may not be enough time for everyone so you may want to think of another giveaway for all employees.

If your group is small say under 50 people then an entertainment mix may be your best option. Something like our Caricatures and Classics Performance which offers both music and caricature entertainment can be a good option. Also available for small groups are trivia, bingo, and other similar games that can include the whole group.

Remember people have to line up for many individual options so try to avoid breaking it up with speeches, etc as it causes people to return to their seats breaking the line. Don’t have a show and individual options going on at the same time as you will not get the value for your dollar as people have to choose one or the other. If mixing both maybe have one type of entertainment available for part of the evening and a show later in the evening.
