Picking Character Traits

If you are trying to come up with a character for your comic book too many people try to come up with things they have seen on television or in the movies. The best way to come up with a solid character is to design a character based on something you know really well. It could be based on many people or people combined to create something new.

For example you may want to base the dark side of the character on a person you have met that you didn’t like very much. Maybe the good side of the character could be based upon yourself or someone you admire. By using people you know it will make your characters much more life like and you will be able to make them more relatable to real life. Try it and see.
