It began about nine years ago when organizer Tammy Blackwell asked if I could create a t-shirt design for Special Olympics Truck Convoy now called Truck Ride for Special Olympics. She had a vision of trucks coming down a hill. Then it began, each year I draw a different design that are given to the athletes. In the designs I often include the athletes themselves as I know them personally from the events. It’s great to see your artwork being worn by everyone at the event and the athletes love it.
The designs have been used over the years on everything from t-shirts, pillows, brochures, posters, and gifts. Most are done in one colour with the exception of the very first one and the one celebrating 15 years.
