I had the pleasure recently of being part of Volkswagen in Woodstock Ontario and their open house event to launch their new dealership. This is a beautiful dealership and part of a larger chain called the 401 Dealerships of Ontario which include a number of other brands. The event included a DJ, photobooth, caricaturist (me) and a beautiful mobile wine bar. Check it out in the pictures below.
We had a lot of laughs drawing guest, employees, and friends of the dealership. I had so much fun I almost left with a Volkswagen. I thought the one with the bow was for me.
You never know who you’ll meet especially when you do so many different types of events. This happened at this event when I was drawing and talking to Jerry. As he explained he was the Mayor of Woodstock I said, “I know you!” I had met Mayor Jerry two years earlier while I was DJing for a truck show in the area. Small world!
