It was a small backyard wedding located in Elora Ontario and caricatures of the guests were the main entertainment. As a wedding caricature artist I often am caricaturing guests at big formal weddings often numbering in the hundreds. This is why it is always fun to work a wedding that is a small family wedding that is focused on what really matters, the Bride and Groom.
Although I was offered by the Groom to set up wherever I wanted the lack of shade led me to a spot in the garage. This organized workshop also doubled as the buffet and and bar for the event. It doesn’t matter where you set up it’s the people that really matter and this family was a pleasure to deal with. Thank you and congratulations to Christine and Harold for having me out on their big day, it was a pleasure drawing for you.
Don’t be afraid to have a small intimate wedding if that is all that’s needed. It was a breath of fresh air.
