Western University were the lucky recipients of caricatures at their Orientation Week events recently in London Ontario. Orientation Events here are similar to the events in Waterloo but Western is a much bigger University. The events here stretched out all over the grounds in various areas. I was in the area with rock climbing, balloon twisting, and other games. In addition there were free concerts, karaoke, and more in adjacent areas.
They know how to party at Western and breaking into what they call the Wobble (a line dance for Western students) is all part of the fun. You can tell who can help you as the experienced students dress up in costume and walk around in packs encouraging first year students to get involved. I learned about all of this while drawing this group at the event.
A big thank you to Western University in London Ontario for having me out and if you want to attend a fun university Western looks like the place to be.
