Have you tried to create a comic story but weren’t sure exactly where to start? The best place for me is in point form. Pull out a piece of paper and right down the main points to be covered through the story. Figure out the type of characters you want to create whether it be humourous or superhero style. Create a character sheet and then build a story using your main points and characters. If you are having trouble sometimes starting with a working title can help create a style of story. For instance I just expanded my Highway Blues Strip to show two main characters creating a running story for my monthly strip. You may have created the next syndicated cartoons strip and not even know it. You will find that the end result is something you can be proud of.
