The Story Behind the Cartoon
This cartoon was published years ago in Road Today Magazine. back in the day many truck drivers had girlfriends in different cities. I am not agreeing with it, but it was a reality. I always wondered not only how they kept names, dates, and their lies straight, but how much it cost them when special days like Valentine’s day came around? It must have cost them a fortune on that day alone. This cartoon was created as many of them I am sure ran out of money and had to call their dispatch to get money sent them for fuel and operating expenses. My advice stay out of hot water to begin with!
