Did you know the type of paper you use can determine the outcome of your art? Many young students focus on price instead of finding paper that works well with the media that they are going to use. All paper is not created equally so forget the price issue unless you are broke. Make sure the paper is acid free, a decent weight, and rough or smooth depending on choice and media. Other factors are also important depending on personal choice. The best bet is to spend some time in your local art store, ask some questions, and buy single sheets of papers that peak your interest.
