Are you starting to use computers more for your art, but aren’t sure which ones you should use? I use the Adobe Suite CS4 and I remember when I started using the computer I was confused what to use, and I was in a class. It was explained to me and I have used it that way ever since. Although you can use any of the programs for duplicate projects I work like this. I use Photoshop for colouring cartoons, adjusting images, etc. I use Illustrator for logo designs, text illustrations, one page projects such as posters etc. I use InDesign for multi page booklets, business cards and the like. Use what your most comfortable with but try to use more than one program. The other key is to keep up with the latest programs or you may find printers won’t be able to print your projects.
